Launch of New Multi-Author Blog from Authors for Earth Day

Have you ever wondered how children’s authors decide what to write? Or how they go about the process of translating their ideas into books for young readers? Does a passion for the environment shape their words? Does it shape their lives? Let’s find out! In the posts to follow, authors from around the nation will guest-blog about how and why they are making greener choices and how those choices influence their writing.

All together, authors in the A4ED coalition have written hundreds of books and garnered an absolutely stunning array of awards and honors.  Some craft rich natural history or environmentally themed books. Many scribe the popular trade series that kids gobble like chocolates. Whether they write picture books, middle grade or YA—fiction or nonfiction—all the authors believe in the power of voice to inspire others. This is a window to their worlds.
